There have actually been many pets out there that enjoy riding the ceiling fans. So what is it that attracts these animals to the fans?
Bugs
It looks like most cases involve something like a moth which of course cats are always interested in catching. Many fans actually have lights on them too and if this is on it can attract all kinds of little bugs as well as the noticeable moths. It is mostly cats then tend to do this although some puppies may be interested too. Animals will always try to catch the smaller insects either for fun or because they are in their home or of course because they are hungry.
This usually ends up being just fine but there are some cases where th fan is on and the poor animal jumps straight into it.
High Flyers
If you do happen to keep birds within your home then make sure that you have turned off all of the fans otherwise you could be having bird for dinner. Curiosity
The saying goes curiosity killed the cat and it is really possible with this. Many animals especially the younger ones will love to explore and examine everything in your house to see what it does. This includes the ceiling fan so the best thing to do is keep an eye on your younger pet to make sure those spinning metal blades to not prove to be a problem.
Although there are various things fitted into fan accessories to make sure these things do not happen there are sometimes difficulties when it comes to solenoids or even the multicore cables.
